BS#8 :: CLOSED :: 1 pt :: Recolor your alphas

Your challenge is to re-color alphas that you already have to create a LO with supplies that you already have. Think paint, pens, glitter, paper...

Due Oct 6 11:59 PM EST for 1 point.

I colored the metal numbers (spray-painted them black) and also traced over the lettering on the sticker since the purple didn't show through the glitter very well.

I've never tried this before and its a great way to stretch your alphas when you don't have the right color. Thanks for the tip! TFL!

I will probably revise this a little and upload a new photo because it still needs journaling and maybe some embellishment; but I'm trying to beat today's deadline and I have to leave in 5 minutes for my volunteer job. The letters were multi-colored monograms that I painted white, then sprayed with Glimmer Mist. I learned that if I do that again, I need to punch them out before I paint them -- they were a bit cranky about leaving the sheet once they got painted in!

I painted these old chipboard alphas white, then used some pink glitter on top.
