CC Challenge #1 - Is someone stealing my pens?

Postby carabecca » Thu Jan 08, 2009 7:39 pm

Office supplies sure do seem to disappear, don't they? At work, I can never find my pens. Or my post-its. At home, my husband is constantly taking the one pencil that we own that obviously BELONGS IN MY CRAFT ROOM! (He also couldn't understand what the fuss was about when he used my good scissors.)

This challenge is all about using those supplies, if you can find them! Use something that is typically an "office" supply in your layout. Some examples are paper clips, staples, binder clips, post-its, lined notebook paper, white-out, or highlighters. Be creative!

Please post your layout in the "CC Cyber Crop" section of the gallery. Link back to this thread, and be sure to tell us which supply you used!

Uggghhh...I loaded my page, but it loaded into my gallery...I'm such a ditz...I guess it was an either/or thing to chose which gallery, I thought I could have it in both.

Let me try again....

Okay...I think I might have done it correctly. I can't remember/don't know how to make the pic actually show up in the thread, so please bear with me.

I used an envelope for the large mat for my photo...I stamped and inked the envelope. I also used staples and reinforcement rings/labels on my punched flowers. I also used staples to attach the transparency strip at the bottom of the page. I used PageMaps for this page.

I used a key tag from work, embossed the musical note on it and added it to the layout. Lots of people use those already, metal rimmed tags, but this is a key tag. Looks the same.

Office stuff used: staples, mini file folder, lined paper, and a homemade paperclip (I couldn't find a single real paperclip in the house, so I made one out of my old wire stash- you said to get creative! :) )
